At the Spiritual Care and Learning Centre (SCLC), we can connect you with spiritual guidance from qualified spiritual leaders and help you get involved with various religious, secular and spiritual (RSS) communities. We work collaboratively with specific RSS communities to promote shared learning and mutual support for everyone at McMaster and in the larger community.

Student Wellness Center

Drop-In Counselling
The SWC counselling staff will sit down with you in a consultation appointment and explore with you what your needs are and some of the best and most effective ways to address those needs.

Medical Care
The SWC medical team, made up of nurses, family medicine doctors and specialist doctors, provide a wide range of health services to provide you with personal health care during your time at McMaster.

Peer Support
The SWC Team is also connected to a variety of Peer Support services all around campus. These services cover a wide range of inclusive support options. Feel free to take a look!

Level Up: A Second-Year Academic and Career Program
It’s common for students to feel a little less structure in their second year. Plus, you might feel like you could’ve gotten better grades or accomplished more of your goals. You’re not alone. Participate in Level Up to access a community of support this year. Think of it like a close-knit social club, a collection of helpful resources and a series of group career counselling and academic coaching sessions — all in one. This 8-week program to build confidence in your academics, clarity around your career and help you thrive at Mac.
